Chris and Pat Story

I chose to revise my Chris and Pat Story. I enjoyed this assignment because the two names are universal and can be used for both genders. No matter what the story line, the reader can still use their imagination with this part.

                “Chris! You’re an idiot!”
                “Pat, you’re the idiot!”
“You were supposed to make a left two stops ago,” Pat screamed.
“I know where I’m going, you’re the one that always gets us lost,” Chris napped.
“Oh please, you’re the one that’s always behind the wheel!”
“I know you’re supposed to make a right up here.”
“If we were anywhere near where we’re supposed to be there would be only one-way streets.”
The two started to stress out over where they were. They were on their way to Berkeley. Already being an hour late, caused a lot of tension in the car. Pat and Chris both thought they were right and refused to listen to each other. They were so sure they knew where they were going that they didn’t want to take out the GPS. B now they got themselves lost in neighborhoods that they thought were in Berkeley.
“Why is everyone hanging out in large groups on the corner of almost every block?” Chris asked.
“Why in the world do they look so angry at us?” Pat muttered.
“I’m getting a little worried. Should i ask them for directions?”
“I know where we are Chris! Why are you trying to start this with me again?!”
“You’re so sensitive when you get your directions wrong.”
“You know I’m always right.”
“That was the biggest lie that has ever come out of your mouth.”
“I’m pretty sure we just keep going straight?”
“I think it’s time we take out the GPS and use it. We didn’t buy it to just have it sitting around never being used.”
“Are you loosing hope in us?”
“Are you loosing hope in us?”
“I’ve lost hope a while ago to be honest.”
Pat and Chris were driving around in Oakland this whole time. They laughed about this the whole way back to Berkeley. They were both wrong.  They spent the day bonding over Cream and thrift shopping. They even met some nice hitchhikers. They took many pictures to scrapbook once they got home since they thought the whole situation was hilarious.
